The dates for the 2021 Grand prix Season are in and there will be a record 23 races!
There are new circuits and the return of some old favourites. The season is topped and tailed, as has been the case for a few years, by Australia and Abu Dhabi.
So what does 2021 have in store for us?
It’s the 72nd year of the F1 world Championship, and the last before some major technical and financial changes which kick off in 2022 and which are expected to cause a major shake up in the performance ranks.
We’re expecting the top top teams – Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull to continue to lead the field, but expect McLaren and Renault to continue to improve and to start to match the established trio.
At the time of writing (November 2020) key seats are settled. And the big news is the return of Fernando Alonso, who will join Esteban Ocon at Renault, which will be called Alpine F1. Seb Vettel moves across to Aston Martin, with Carlos Sainz Junior filling his seat at Ferrari, and Daniel Ricciardo moves to McLaren.
We’ll add offers here as they come in, and we may see you at some of these races.
