USA Multi centre holidays are one of our most popular enquiries for a city break trip to America. With the frequency and low cost of internal flights in the USA, it’s not expensive to extend your stay. Visit two, three, four or even five destinations within one visit. Let us know your budget and your stamina and we can tick off those goals off your bucket list.
The top five cities for a multi centre USA holiday are New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Chicago. We can tailor make packages to suit you, so you’re not restricted to just these destinations, if you fancy the music cities of Memphis, New Orleans & Nashville let us know. Or twin New York with Orlando for a city break before a week or two in Florida. Don’t just visit NYC, you could quite easily include Washington D.C, Philadelphia, Boston and Niagara Falls for example. The possibilities are endless!

We decided to hire a Mustang and drive to Los Angeles during our week in Las Vegas. It’s about 4.5 hours if you stick to the speed limit on the California Interstate 15. To be honest it’s quite a long boring road, albeit with some stunning scenery along the way. We stopped at Peggy Sue’s 50’s Diner for lunch, which is a traditional American diner situated in Yermo which was a perfect way to break the journey up. I adored…

We combined a visit to the Hoover Dam with the Skywalk on the West rim of the Grand Canyon for a self drive day out from Las Vegas. Hoover Dam is 32 miles from Las Vegas, which is around 45 minutes drive. The distance to continue on to the Skywalk was a further 96 miles, just under 2 hours. It’s important to note that during the winter months, the state of Arizona is an hour different to Nevada and the…

We visited The Hoover Dam as part of our trip to Las Vegas. We hired a car and drove to the dam, which is about a 40 minute drive. The dam spans the states of Nevada and Arizona, and crosses two time zones, which confused us as we headed afterwards into Arizona! It was built in the 1930’s during the great depression and had three key objectives: 1/ To provide water for irrigation to the states down river. 2/ To…

It was Sunday and finally we decided to go for the Weekend Brunch priced at $35 per person at the Wicked Spoon. Expecting up to a 30 minute wait, we found that there was only a…

Visit the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada” sign. The sign is on the South end of Las Vegas Boulevard by the Bali Hai Golf Club, which is a couple of blocks walk from the Mandalay Bay. The sign was created by Betty Willis and installed…

It might only be a 12-15 minute flight experience, but the helicopter tour of the Las Vegas strip by night was fabulous. We booked it on personal recommendations from friends and agents who mentioned it was the highlight of their holiday. There are a few companies offering this excursion including Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters, Maverick Helicopters and Sundance Helicopters. We booked the excursion without limousine transfers, however every taxi ride we took to various points in Vegas during our stay…
