Miami
Virgin Voyages built Terminal V for their home port in Miami, situated at 718 Cruise Boulevard the distinctive 3 storey building is a fitting start and finish to one of their voyages.
We love the vibe in Miami! We’d suggest taking in a longer stay than just than one night pre cruise stay, or extending your trip for a few nights post cruise. Ocean Drive is littered with Art Deco buildings, pavement cafés and classic cars. South Beach is the picture postcard coastline of white sand and amazing lifeguard huts stretching for miles. Little Havana is full of Cuban delights, including handmade cigars. Lincoln Road is the place for high street shopping, whilst the Dolphin Mall is worth stopping by for outlet shopping on your way to / from the airport.
Barcelona
Barcelona is a fabulous port to base one of Virgin Voyages lady ships. It has great flight connections, but more importantly is a very interesting city to enjoy a pre or post cruise stay. Barceloneta provides great beach vibes. The Gothic Quarter is a popular zone to stay in for central Barcelona littered with Gaudi influences. The Sagrada Familia is a must do, take a tower tour for city views or just bask in the beautiful colours streaming in from the stained glass windows. Sit at a tapas stall in the Mercado de la Boqueria. Go shopping on La Rambla. The attractions in this city are endless.
