It was our first time to the holiday resort of Playa del Inglés in the south of Gran Canaria.
We didn’t know what to expect and after only a short stay we can quite honestly say, it’s not for us. That’s not that we wouldn’t stay there again, in fact we’re already planning a second stay at the Bohemia Suites & Spa Hotel.
Playa del Inglés beach is fabulous and it’s easy to see why thousands of Brits flock to this holiday resort. The deep, golden sandy beach stretches for 2.7km with San Agustin and Maspalomas on either end. There’s no doubt that the Dunas de Maspalomas are stunning, it’s mesmerising watching the sand shifting in the breeze. There’s also a section of beach between the dunes and Playa del Inglés which is a designated nudist area.
