Lanzarote may not be the most obvious place for naturist holidays, however the island does have some naturist friendly hotels and nudist beaches.
Naturist accommodation in Lanzarote
For the full clothing optional experience, Charco del Palo is a naturist village situated on the coast of Mala in the north of the island. We can’t help with accommodation in this area as the majority are privately owned holiday lets. There are two natural swimming pool areas and if conditions allow, swimming off the monkey rocks is popular with naturists as well as scuba divers.

The naturist area is a walled area in the gardens away from the main hotel. There are sun beds with umbrellas, palm trees and a shower.

The naturist zone is a roof terrace accessed by stairs from the top floor of the hotel. The area has astro turf and fencing with sun beds, umbrellas and a shower.
LIVVO Mirador Papagayo (Playa Blanca)
The nudist solarium can be found on the 6th floor of the hotel for 18+ guests. There are sun beds and a jacuzzi with views to the beaches at Papagayo.
Seaside Los Jameos (Puerto del Carmen)
A lava rock walled area in the garden is available for naturists. The sun beds are shaded by palms.
Nudist beaches in Lanzarote
For those visitors seeking an all over tan, these are the main beaches where you will find other naturists in Lanzarote.
- Caleta del Congrio is the best of the naturist beach options, it’s a natural beach at Punta de Papagayo in Playa Blanca and Los Ajaches National Park.
- Playa de Guacimeta is the most central naturist beach but not particularly private as situated next to the promenade path frequented by walkers and cyclists by the airport in Playa Honda
- Playa de la Cantería is a pretty white sand cove just off the LZ-1 road to Órzola
- Playa la Arena is a black sand / pebble beach a short walk from Playa Quemada
