Our riad had recommended two local restaurants for our evening meal in Rabat, we opted for Le Dhow.

Le Dhow is a wooden dhow boat that has been converted to offer a floating restaurant and chill out lounge moored on the waterfront of Rabat, underneath the Kasbah D’Oudayas.

When we boarded we were shown to the dining room on the top deck, it was warm and cosy, out of the cool evening breeze. We were given a romantic table for two in the corner.

I was surprised to see alcohol on the menu, so we ordered a Casablanca beer whilst we reviewed the dishes on offer, the gentle rocking of the boat was comforting.

We both cheap propecia in the uk decided to order fish, it seemed right given our location. Mike ordered the Dauarde marinated in ginger, lemon and corriander, and I chose the Degustation de la Mer which included 3 types of fish. Both main dishes were grilled and accompanied by creamy mash and vegetables.

The two fish dishes cost 320 dirhams / 32 euros in total and the beers 60 dirhams / 6 euros each.

It had been a long day, and although we were torn if to stay and have a nightcap, we ordered the bill and walked back up the hill to our accommodation.
