The Canary Islands will be connected to the Balearic Islands with direct flights from May 2018.

Binter Canarias have announced 3 new routes starting in May to improve the connectivity of the archipelago.

Both Gran Canaria and Tenerife will have twice weekly flights to PMI airport in Palma de Mallorca, the largest of the Balearics. The third new route is to Vigo on the northwest coast of the Spanish mainland.

  • Gran Canaria – Palma Mallorca / Mondays and Thursdays
  • Gran Canaria – Vigo / Thursdays and Sundays
  • Tenerife Norte – Palma Mallorca / Wednesdays and Saturdays

The aircraft confirmed for these new flights is the Bombardier CRJ 1000 aircraft which was introduced to the Binter Canarias fleet in 2017, and has a capacity of 100 passengers.
