Cruises From Lanzarote
In winter 2025 / 26 MSC based the ship Musica in Lanzarote at the port of Arrecife, allowing, for the first time, passengers to embark and disembark a Canary Islands cruise on the volcanic island.
It was an extraordinary success, and for winter 2026 / 27 and 2027 / 28 MSC has already decided to base a larger ship in Lanzarote, the impressive Fantasia, complete with Yacht Club, a luxury “ship within a ship,” featuring butler service and much more.
MSC Fantasia Sailings From Lanzarote
Fantasia arrives from the Med to Lanzarote in mid December, and her first sailing is on 17th December 2026. Sailings will take place every Thursday until the final one of the season on 25th March 2027.
The itinerary each week covers all these ports, with some slight variations in the order:

The Cabins
There are three “Normal” Cabin types:
- Interior – as the name suggests these are located on the interior of the ship and they have no windows or balcony. They are located on decks 5-9 and 11-13.
- Ocean View – these are cabins on the outside of the ship with windows for a view of the ocean. They are located on decks 5, 8 and 13.
- Balcony – these are cabins with a balcony. These are on decks 8 to 13 (some can have a view obstructed by a lifeboat.)
Generally speaking, the higher the deck the more expensive, but MSC’s pricing isn’t over the top, and the increases are reasonable. Balcony cabins with a partial view, where there are lifeboats, are the least expensive in that category.
Adjoining cabins are available.
Yacht Club
Yacht Club is MSC’s famous “Ship within a ship.” It offers a super luxurious experience including 24 / 7 butler service, bars and restaurants only for yacht club passengers, complimentary spa visits and priority boarding and disembarking.
All the Yacht Club suites have balconies and are on decks 15 and 16 .
Summary
These cruises are super value for money and give you a chance to sail from Lanzarote, visit Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and La Palma in The Canaries and enjoy a day in Funchal, Madeira.
