Who is a Virgin Voyager?

They are a new class of sailors at sea. Someone who is looking for an elevated experience, a cruise with a bit of sparkle and lots of freedom to be who they are and do what they want. There’s no buffet restaurants, no enforced formal dress codes, and no assigned dining times or tables.

Virgin Voyages is a mind set rather than aimed at a particular age group. Offering something different to the standard cruises currently on the market. Think young at heart, aimed at adults who previously thought a cruise would be too stuffy and boring.

Is there a drinks package available on Virgin Voyages?

You won’t find a drinks package on a Virgin Voyages cruise. VV understood that there was a market for premium brands, and hand made cocktails. Non of this standing 3 deep at a bar, waiting for a ready made slush. You can expect a great bar service and professional bartending with cocktail flair. Drinks are chargeable, their USP is top end drinks served at reasonable prices.

Shake for Champagne™ is an on demand champagne delivery service. To activate, simply shake your phone! When the Virgin Voyages Sailor App is shaken, a secret button is revealed, press and a bottle of Möet Chandon will be delivered to you, in a champagne bucket with two glasses.

Scarlet Lady

Scarlet Lady has been designed with an elegant super yacht in mind, a mid sized ship with 2,770 Sailors (passengers) and 1,150 Crew. Based in Miami she will be operating 4-5 night itineraries to the Caribbean. Including destinations such as Costa Maya or Cozumel (Mexico), Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Key West (Florida), San Juan (Puerto Rico). All itineraries include a trip to the private Beach Club at Bimini in the Bahamas. The only way to visit this destination is by one of the Lady Ships from VV.

There will be 20+ restaurants to choose from for dining on board the Scarlet Lady. The Wake is a theatrical take on steak & seafood, The Test Kitchen is a chemistry inspired cooking lab, Razzle Dazzle  bright and veggie forward with meaty cheats, Gunbae a lively Korean BBQ, Pink Agave with contemporary Mexican fare, The Dock serves Mediterranean mezze style cuisine, then Extra Virgin has Italian cuisine.

There are 1408 suites & cabins on Scarlet Lady. The accommodation is divided into 78 RockStar Suites, 1208 Sea Terrace suites / cabins and 95 Sea Views.  Known as Clever Cabins the accommodation is designed to feel like a boutique hotel with auto sensory lighting and a/c settings. 93% have sea views, and 86% have sea terraces with hammocks. Solo options available with no extra premium.

As you’d expect with a brand new ship, Scarlet Lady will have the latest technology fitted. Sailors will be able to access facilities and amenities with the VV app and tablet in every cabin.

RockStar Suites

RockStar Suites have prime locations, personalised room bar (first round on them), Richard’s Rooftop access, premium WiFi, private transfer to / from ship, VIP access at The Beach Club in Bimini, upgraded amenities and laundry service.

Mega RockStar Suites are as the RockStar Suites with these additional extras: peek a view outdoor shower, bottomless bar, drinks on the ship (excluding Scarlet Lady Locker), selected port experiences, access to the Thermal Suite, hair & makeup squad and complimentary laundry.
