A modern 4* hotel, the Aequora Lanzarote is situated 250m from Playa Los Pocillos beach. There’s shops, bars and restaurants close by at the Jameos Playa or Los Pocillos shopping centres. Plus the promenade stretches out in either direction, Matagorda, Playa Honda and Arrecife to the left and Puerto del Carmen to the right. This area is flat, so you don’t need to worry about an uphill walk back from the beach to your hotel.
With 398 rooms, the Aequora Lanzarote is a large hotel, catering for families and adults only. There’s a choice of 4 fresh water swimming pools including children’s splash park, disabled hoist and adult’s only pool. Pool heating is available from 1st November to 30th June. The hotel has 6 accommodation blocks. Block 2 has the splash pool and 3 the playground, providing an ideal location for young families. Blocks 4 and 6 overlook the main pools and restaurants. Block 5 is where you will find the adults only pool and sports court. Lastly, block 1 is situated next to reception.
At the Aequora Lanzarote there are two buffet restaurants. Poseidon caters for families and Neptuno is available for adults and children aged over 13 years of age. Don Paco is the on site à la carte restaurant. Both Neptuno and Don Paco have a dress code of long trousers for gentlemen, in summer knee length shorts are allowed. No beach wear, or sleeveless shirts are allowed. The buffet restaurants usually have 4 themed nights including Spanish/Canaria, Mexican, Asian and Italian cuisine, although subject to change.
Guests can choose 1 of 4 bars for drinks, the Blue Bar is a chill out zone for adults only, Coral is the snack and pool bar, showing live sports in the daytime. Maris is the theatre terrace bar, plus Atlantida for live sport coverage during the evenings.
The hotel offers half board, all inclusive and all inclusive plus accommodation options. The AI plus includes selected branded drinks, unlimited à la carte dinners at Don Paco, bathrobe and slippers, fully stocked minibar, coffee machine with daily stock of capsules, discount spa treatments and a Balinese bed reservation at the Blue Bar (limited to 1 per week).
For children there are two clubs 4-8 years and 9-15 years. Plus a children’s playground and children’s pool / splash park.
Guests can expect daytime entertainment including sports and water based activities, as well as a mixture of in house and professional shows during the evenings.
