We were all wowed by the Anemos Luxury Grand Resort on arrival in Georgioupolis, this 5 star suites and spa hotel is just one year old.

Anemos Luxury Grand Resort

Our first stop was the impressive sun terrace and two swimming pools by reception.

Anemos Deluxe Family Twin Bedroom
Next we were shown a Deluxe Family Room with a private pool which was really spacious (from 65m2) and had been thoughtfully designed to include lots of wardrobe space, air conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities and a television in each room.

The second twin bedroom was accessed off the king size bedroom. Both bedrooms could access the terrace and pool area. Accommodating 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, each bedroom had it’s own bathroom and toiletries provided.

The 16km long beachfront is a short walk away and accessed by an underpass from the hotel. The small seaside town of Georgioupolis is approximately 2km walk away, which can be accessed by road, beach or a tourist train service. The natural freshwater Kournas Lake provides an alternative destination to the beach and is popular with walkers. Chania airport is a distance of 48km from the hotel. The tiny St. Nicolas chapel which protects the local fisherman is a popular destination for visitors to Georgioupolis, who can walk out to it along the stone causeway at low tide.
